Nutrition tip for the day is to focus on nutrient dense food which are generally fruits and vegetables.

Calories come in different forms. The solids are hamburgers, fries, hot dogs, pizza, tacos, etc. The liquid calories are often overlooked which includes sodas, teas, alchoholic beverages, fruit juices, smoothies, and energy drinks. They are often packed with calories and low in essential nutrients. Generally the food companies do not fortify these foods and drinks with nutrients because it costs more money and they are not interested in health, just profit.

check the nutrients on your food labels and look for foods that are nutrient dense, rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. And of course, i recommend controlling the calories in the food.
